In a mobile phone, the earSmart Advanced Voice processor uses two microphones as its ears to capture your voice and all the sounds around you.  Modeling functions of human hearing, the earSmart system-on-chip processes and interprets the audio stream, instinctively characterizing and grouping complex mixtures of sound.  By evaluating various “cues”, the processor can correctly identify the primary voice signal or conversation, and distinguish that from other surrounding sounds.  Then it enhances the voice signal and suppresses the background sounds, to produce clear communication without the noise.  Nothing makes your mobile conversations sound better.
